GM-KSB is one of the essential macro nutrient and the most abundantly absorbed cation in plants. Potassium plays an important role in the growth and development of plants. It activates enzymes, maintains cell turgor, enhances photosynthesis, reduces respiration, helps in transport of sugars and starches, helps in nitrogen uptake and essential for protein synthesis. In addition to plant metabolism, potassium improves crop quality because it helps ingrain filling and kernel weight, strengthens straw, increases disease resistance and helps the plant better to withstand stress. KSB could be applied individually however it is recommended along with nitrogen fixing bacteria and with P-solubilizers for better results.
